Memorials
A memorial is a lasting symbol of remembrance and should be chosen with care. It is the final gift that will be given to a loved one. We offer a full memorial service whether your requirement is for an additional inscription, a cremated remains tablet, bronze remembrance wall plaque, keepsake or a full interment memorial.
You will have three decisions to make in buying a memorial, the stone, the style and the inscription. As we have already discussed your choice of stone will sometimes be made for you, and the choice of styles limited if the memorial is to be erected in a churchyard. Welham Jones is an associate member of the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) and agrees, at all times, to abide by their code of practice. All memorials are covered by a 10 year guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship but not acts of vandalism or accidental damage. Where appropriate memorials are erected with ground anchors and, where applicable, are inscribed on the reverse with the number of the cemetery plot and our name.

BRONZE PLAQUE
Cast in bronze and screw or lug mounted these are suitable for churchyard or cemetery gardens of remembrance. Cast plaques are available in a variety of sizes (6” x 4” shown) and priced from £175 plus fees.

A 15” x 12” granite cremated remains memorial tablet shown here in mid grey, with a honed finish and suitable for churchyard, cemetery and home use. Tablets are available in a variety of sizes and stones and start around £150 plus fees and inscription.

A cremated remains tablet of polished black granite distinguished by the use of an inverse inscription to give the effect of black letters on a white background. This memorial is best suited to granite and may not be allowed in churchyards. It is available in various sizes and is priced from £150 plus inscription and fees.
